GDP growth slows to 2% in Q1 2026
The real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 2% during the first quarter of 2026, a deceleration from the 2.8% growth recorded during the corresponding quarter of 2025, according to the Namibia Statistics Agency.
Data released on Thursday by the NSA shows that despite the slower rate of real economic expansion, the country’s nominal GDP increased significantly.
