Overreliance on manual processes, outdated organisational structures and obsolete legislative frameworks were highlighted as some of the key obstacles hampering the Ministry of Finance from going into a full modernisation drive.

The ministry’s senior staff members shared these challenges with Parliamentarians during this week’s engagement with standing committees of the National Council.
