THE Namibian Police are investigating two separate cases of malicious damage to property that occurred on Saturday in Rehoboth, Hardap Region, and the Endola policing area of Ohangwena Region, with one suspect arrested.
In Rehoboth, a fire brigade truck was damaged in Block E in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the weekend crime report of the police, the fire truck was returning from extinguishing a house fire in Block E when a group of people started throwing stones at it.

A suspect allegedly threw a stone that broke the driver-side window of the vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
In the Endola policing area, also on Saturday, a 40-year-old man was arrested after he was allegedly found vandalising an MTC tower.
The incident occurred at around 14:50 at the MTC tower in Onepandaulo village. The police said that the suspect used pliers to cut and damage three DC power electrical cables valued at N$30 000, with the intention to steal them.
The damaged cables were recovered at the scene, and the suspect was arrested on charges of malicious damage to property and attempted theft.
