A total of 42 games took place over the weekend, as the Collin Benjamin Soccer Talents (CBS) exacted revenge on Deutscher Turn und Sportverein (DTS) early on Saturday morning at the Trustco football field. CBS had been knocked out last weekend in the SKW tournament, losing 1-0 to DTS. This time, CBS came with a thorough game plan, controlling the ball throughout the match and winning 4-1.
Although CBS shrugged off another loss earlier last week, when Julinho Athletic Football Club beat them 2-1 at the Jan Möhr football field, they wanted to get back to winning ways this time. Their win came from Tonny Owoseb, who scored two goals, while Graig Muukweli and Stephen Kamulu each scored one.
Assistant Coach Arnold Subeb from CBS said they had to draw on the past weekend to beat their rivals after missing out on silverware in the previous tournament.
