Passion drives Blouwes principal to soldier on

KEETMANSHOOP – Blouwes Primary School principal Andy Gariseb has appealed for greater investment in extra-curricular activities, saying they are essential to nurturing learners beyond the classroom.

Speaking to New Era recently, Gariseb said while the school remains committed to providing quality education, it lacks the resources to expose learners to activities that broaden their horizons and help them realise their full potential.

“We cannot take learners on educational excursions. There is very little we can do to make school an exciting place for them,” he said.
