Meatco secures additional Norwegian beef quota

The Meat Corporation of Namibia has secured an additional Norwegian beef export quota of 344 766kg after fully using its initial 2026 allocation by the end of June, five months earlier than last year.

Meatco in a media statement on Tuesday says the early completion of the original quota is expected to generate about N$265 million in premium export earnings.
