The Namibia Women in Sport Association (NAWISA), in collaboration with the Namibia Sport Commission (NSC), has launched a five-day train-the-trainer leadership programme to increase women’s participation in and influence over sports leadership and governance.
The programme, taking place at Town Lodge Ongwediva in the Oshana region from 29 July to 2 August, is themed “Raising the Game – Advancing Women’s Leadership in Sport.”

It brings together women leaders from across the country to develop the skills needed to strengthen sports administration at the regional and community levels.
Designed as a train-the-trainer initiative, participants will gain leadership, governance, and management skills to transfer to their regions, creating a ripple effect that promotes greater female representation in Namibian sport.
