Have you noticed that as you move around the city lately, some people are dressed warmly, others lightly, and some as if it’s summer?
That is the current state of the weather.
In Namibia, winter generally falls between June and August. Yet, within a single day, we can experience what feels like three seasons: a base of winter, a touch of autumn and a hint of spring. So, what does one wear when the weather cannot make up its mind?

Dressing in the morning can be challenging. It may be cold when you leave home, only for temperatures to rise as the day progresses, before dropping again at night. Do you dress warmly and risk peeling off layers throughout the day, or dress lightly and spend the morning uncomfortable and cold?
The hardest part is not necessarily deciding what to wear, but learning to stop letting unpredictable weather make the decision for you.
Instead of fighting the weather, it helps to embrace the transitional season.
