The prosecution in the trial of a former teacher convicted of murdering his wife has contended that murder accused Patrick Geingob has not shown remorse for his actions.

This is according to State advocate Seredine Jacobs during pre-sentencing proceedings yesterday before Windhoek High Court Judge Herman January.
Geingob stands convicted of murder with direct intent in connection with the killing of his wife, Merentha Geingos, on 14 April 2019.
Additionally, he was convicted of one count of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and common assault.
