Namibia shows strong interest in “Icebreaker of Knowledge” Expedition – Thousands of global applications intensify competition

The competition for Rosatom’s North Pole expedition has attracted nearly 5,000 students from around the world, with Namibia showing strong interest, resulting in nearly 200 applicants for each available spot.

Namibia has been taking part in the Icebreaker of Knowledge expedition for several years. This season, school students have again taken part in the contest: more than 350 applications came from Africa – from Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Egypt.
