Pick a struggle, Nudo tells Uapingene

National Unity Democratic Organisation secretary general Joseph Uaraa Uapingene cannot have his cake and eat it, it seems.

This is if tensions at Nudo, with party leaders divided over the secretary-general’s alliance with the genocide Joint Declaration committee, is anything to go by. It is a position Nudo has historically opposed. At the centre of the brouhaha is Uapingene, whose recent actions have created a divide within the leadership. Consequently, party president Peter Kazongominja issued an ultimatum to Uapingene, demanding that he either commit to the party or resign and join the Joint Declaration committee.
