BEIJING, July 6 — China’s State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters on Monday upgraded its emergency response for flood control from Level-IV to Level-III for southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region due to Typhoon Maysak.

Since July 3, Guangxi, affected by Typhoon Maysak, has experienced persistent heavy rainfall, leading to severe flooding in some areas.
