The Namibia Football Association (NFA), under the leadership of president Robert Shimooshili, has formally called for amendments to the country’s Sports Act no 12 of 2003, specifically section 22, and sections 2 and 3, arguing that the current legislation no longer adequately supports the governance, growth and long-term sustainability of sport in Namibia.
