Staff Reporter THE Kunene River at Ruacana remains in strong flow, exceeding last year’s levels by more than 600 cubic metres per second (m³/s). According to the Hydrological Services of Namibia, the Kunene River at Ruacana recorded a flow rate of 1,017.3 m³/s on Wednesday morning, 29 April 2026. This is significantly higher than the flow recorded on the same date last year (29 April 2025), when the river measured 384.40 m³/s.
