Residents of Bombay Street at Otjomuise will soon have easier access to water after the City of Windhoek approved the installation of two temporary standpipes following an appeal from the community.

The intervention follows a request made on 18 April by community leader Hilda Tseitseimou to Landless People’s Movement councillor Ivan Skrywer, urging the city to bring water closer to the residents.
