SOUTH African national, Armand Carel Schultz (27), who was arrested after the discovery of a N$52 million cannabis plantation in the Khomas Hochveld area, has denied assertions that he was a farm manager at Farm Eendrag and said that he was just a mechanic who had no knowledge of the existence of the dagga plantation.
The averments were made by his lawyer, Johannes Steenkamp (Wihan) Brand, in a High Court bail appeal application wherein Schultz seeks an order from the High Court to set aside a decision by the lower Magistrate’s Court, which denied him bail on 27 March 2026.
