U.S. forces strike Iran’s Qeshm Island after “attempted” Iranian attacks: CENTCOM

WASHINGTON/TEHRAN, June 3– U.S. forces carried out “self-defense” strikes on Iran’s Qeshm Island in response to “attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East” on Tuesday, U.S. Central Command said. The U.S. military struck an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island near the Strait of Hormuz, the command said on X, adding that no U.S. personnel were harmed.
