The Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF) has announced the appointment of Fanuel Shinedima as its new chief executive officer, ushering in a new era of leadership for one of Namibia’s most prestigious youth-led organisations.

Shinedima, who has previously served as a director of the forum, returns to lead the organisation.

The appointment comes as the forum approaches its third anniversary, marking a period of institutional growth, strategic expansion, and increasing national visibility.

Shinedima has played a critical role in shaping the organisation into one of Namibia’s leading youth-led platforms dedicated to advancing youth participation, skills development, local content, entrepreneurship, and stakeholder engagement within the country’s evolving energy sector ever since joining NYEF’s leadership.
