A deacon (69) of the Catholic Church at Nkurenkuru who allegedly killed his son (31) in 2024 was granted bail of N$5 000 at the Rundu Magistrate’s Court yesterday. It is alleged that Markus Musonga shot his son, Felix Musonga, twice in October 2024 at Siudiva after an argument erupted between them over Markus’s wife’s phone. He is facing four charges, namely murder read with the domestic violence act, assault read with the domestic violence act, assault by threat read with the domestic violence act and discharging of a firearm.
