The commitment, announced by MTC Managing Director Licky Erastus during the official opening of the festival last week, means the event will now officially be known as the MTC Kasi Vibe Festival.

Erastus said the telecommunications company will invest N$1 million annually for the next three years, describing the partnership as an investment in Namibia’s young entrepreneurs and small businesses.

“MTC pledged an annual amount of one million dollars for the next three years towards this initiative. This marks the beginning of an exciting partnership,” he said.
