TEAM Namibia received a heroes’ welcome at Hosea Kutako International Airport following its successful campaign at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, where the country’s medal-winning boxers were honoured with cash rewards totalling N$195 000.
Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture Dino Ballotti welcomed the athletes, coaches and officials on their return from Scotland, describing their performances as a source of national pride and an inspiration to future generations of Namibian athletes.
