OBSERVER COASTAL | Road repair projects gain momentum in Walvis Bay

The Municipality of Walvis Bay has confirmed that several major road maintenance and rehabilitation projects are currently in full swing across the town, signaling a push to upgrade the coastal town’s transport infrastructure.

The active programme, which includes an immediate pothole repair drive and long-term surface rehabilitation, is being rolled out in phases as the local authority continues to invest heavily in the upkeep of its road network.

The municipality said residents will have noticed increased activity by contractor DJJ Investment CC, which has been appointed to carry out a comprehensive pothole repair and routine road maintenance campaign.
