Cloud cover brings hope of rain

CLOUDY SKIES RAISE HOPES FOR RAIN: Clouds are gathering over parts of the country as spring officially arrives, raising hopes of rainfall in several areas. The cloudy weather comes as the Namibia Meteorological Service forecasts rain showers and thunderstorms in several parts of the country, with the central, eastern and north-eastern areas expected to be most affected. Places such as Windhoek in the Khomas Region, as well as Aroab, Ariamsvlei and Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas Region, are among the areas experiencing intermittent cloud cover, indicating that rain might be around the corner.
