Jafta shines as Windhoek Golf Club’s monthly medal race intensifies

Neels Jafta produced a superb performance to claim overall honours at the sixth AB InBev Monthly Medal competition held at Windhoek Golf Club on Saturday, posting an impressive nett score of 67 to headline another competitive day of golf.

Played under clear sunny skies, the sixth of eight qualifying events attracted 47 golfers, who battled not only for divisional honours but also valuable points in the race to qualify for the prestigious Tournament of Champions later this year.

Jafta’s consistent round saw him finish ahead of the field after carding a gross score of 79 with a handicap of 12 for a winning nett score of 67.

Competition across the divisions was equally fierce.
