Omaruru sports hub secures power grid access in latest electricity drive
Regional youth development and grassroots received a significant infrastructure boost following the successful grid electrification of the Omaruru OlympAfrica Centre.
The Namibia National Olympic Committee (NNOC) on Tuesday confirmed that the installation of power grid infrastructure is complete, marking a major milestone which will serve the Omaruru community, particularly young people who rely on the facility for sport, education, recreation, and community development programmes.
The project was made possible through the support of the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC) through its Youth and National Service initiatives
