HIGH Court Judge Gabriel Komboni has said that social activist Michael Amushelelo failed to demonstrate how the installation of speed humps by the Ministry of Works and Transport was in contravention of any common law or legislation.

The judge made these observations in a judgment in which he dismissed an application by Amushelelo that sought to compel the Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, and the Roads Authority, to, within 24 hours of a court order, remove the physical speed humps situated on the B1 Western Bypass near the Northern Industrial Area and restore the road surface to its normal, unobstructed condition.
