NAMIBIA and Poland have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and economic development, with both countries identifying opportunities in sectors including green industrialisation, renewable energy, mining, aviation and agriculture.

The commitment was made during bilateral talks between Namibia’s Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, held on 30 June 2026.
Ashipala-Musavyi reaffirmed Namibia’s commitment to strengthening relations with Poland and said the country is ready to expand cooperation in green industrialisation, manufacturing and value addition, youth innovation, renewable energy, tourism, as well as trade and investment.
