Swakop Uranium has donated N$70000 to support women and youth-owned businesses in the Erongo region, with funds generated through the registration fees of its annual Husab Marathon.
The donation was officially handed over to Erongo governor Nathalia /Goagoses during a ceremony held at her office.
The contribution follows an initiative in which participants paid a minimum entry fee to participate in this year’s marathon, with proceeds allocated to community development projects.
