Preparations for the fourth Namibia Oil and Gas Conference are underway, with organisers saying this year’s event will focus on how Namibia’s oil resources can benefit its people.

The conference will take place from 18 to 20 August 2026 under the theme, “From Decision to Dividend: Making Namibia’s Oil Work for Namibians.” It is set to bring government officials, investors, industry leaders and development partners to discuss the future of the country’s oil and gas sector.
The organising team this week met with the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor), one of the conference’s strategic partners, to discuss preparations for the event.
