Namibia’s UNAM FC have been handed an Angolan challenge after being drawn against Kabuscorp SCP in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The university side will travel into continental competition knowing that a victory over the Angolan outfit will move them one step closer to the group stage.

Should UNAM FC advance, they will face Democratic Republic of Congo side AS Maniema Union in the final preliminary round, where a place in the group stage will be at stake.
UNAM FC head coach Robert Nauseb welcomed the draw, saying the continental opportunity will provide valuable exposure for the players and the club.
“This is good news for the team and the players because it gives them exposure at a higher level. We have already started preparing, and training began last week,” Nauseb said.
