TRAINEES at the Valombola Vocational Training Centre (VVTC) have manufactured 700 pieces of school furniture valued at N$297,696, which were officially handed over to schools in the Khomas Region through the Office of the Governor at the Khomas Regional Council.

The donation, comprising 300 chairs and 400 desks, was funded through pledges made during a National Fish Consumption Day Gala Dinner and facilitated by the Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust (NFCPT).
The furniture was designed and produced by VVTC trainees, demonstrating how vocational skills can be applied to address challenges facing Namibia’s education sector.
