Staff Reporter PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reaffirmed government’s commitment to agricultural development, food security and rural empowerment following visits to the Ekoka Brownfield Green Scheme and the San Communities Development Centre in the Ohangwena Region as part of her ongoing nationwide agricultural tour. Accompanied by Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform Minister Inge Zaamwani-Kamwi, the President visited the government-supported projects to assess progress and familiarise herself with recent developments aimed at strengthening livelihoods and economic opportunities in rural communities. At the Ekoka Brownfield Green Scheme, Nandi-Ndaitwah received a briefing on key infrastructure developments, including the completion of perimeter fencing, borehole drilling and the installation of an irrigation system designed to boost agricultural productivity and enhance national food security.
