The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) will release relevant statistics this week.
These statistics address the marginalised population as well as pensioners’ proximity to postal services. These are derivatives of statistics collected during the 2023 Population and Housing Census.

When the NSA indicated that the population and housing census does more than just count people, we meant it.
The reports that will be released on Wednesday will contribute significantly to evidence-based planning, policymaking and monitoring of our efforts.
These publications reaffirm the Agency’s commitment to producing, analysing and disseminating high-quality official statistics that inform decision-making across all sectors of society. The three reports to be released are the Report on Marginalised Communities, the Namibia Census Atlas and the Atlas on the Proximity of Pensioners to Post Offices.
