KEETMANSHOOP – Ariamsvlei is set to receive approximately N$4 million worth of development interventions under the //Kharas Regional Council’s 2026/2027 Procurement Plan.
The planned projects were announced during a regional tour led by //Kharas Governor Dawid Gertze, which began in Ariamsvlei on 10 August as part of the government’s information-sharing, community engagement and monitoring and evaluation programme.
Megameno Shikongo, Acting Chief Regional Officer at the //Kharas Regional Council, said the interventions are intended to address infrastructure and service delivery needs in the settlement.
