For many Namibians, owning a home remains out of reach as house prices continue to rise.
About 42% of urban households live in informal housing, while the latest FNB House Price Index reports a 7.4% increase in property prices in the second quarter of 2026.
The latest FNB House Price Index shows that house prices rose by 7.4% in the second quarter of 2026, pushing the national average house price to about N$1.46 million.
