Opuwo: 24 mass houses handed over … Sankwasa directs councillors to monitor projects

OPUWO – Twenty-four houses completed under the Mass Housing Development Programme (MHDP) were handed over to beneficiaries at Opuwo last week.

Urban and Rural Development minister James Sankwasa during the handover on Thursday said the completion of the houses demonstrates government’s commitment to addressing the country’s housing needs.

Sankwasa said the MHDP recommenced in 2017, with 572 houses countrywide identified as “commenced but not completed.”
