EENHANA – The Office of the Governor of the Ohangwena region, led by governor Kadiva Hamutumwa, recently launched the Ohangwena Regional Investment Map and Action Plan 2025-2030.

This marks an important milestone in the region’s efforts to position itself as a competitive investment destination, where businesses can grow, industries can flourish and investment translates into sustainable employment and shared prosperity.
The official investment map and action plan was presented to business entrepreneurs, financiers and investors from across the region, providing them with information on the region’s investment opportunities and prospects.
“As the governor’s office of Ohangwena, our constitutional responsibility extends beyond coordinating government activities in the region. In terms of Article 110A of the Constitution of the Republic of Namibia, the governor provides political leadership in the region, oversees the implementation of the government’s development agenda, and serves as the vital link between the central government, the regional council, local authorities and traditional authorities,” she said.
