Tailoring business pays off home loan

OKONGO – A resident of Okongo in the Ohangwena, region Lusina Hamutwalela, says she appreciates her clients because her tailoring business enabled her to fully pay off the home loan she took out in 2016.

The mother of two said her house was built by the Shack Dwellers Federation in 2016 in Okongo town. The Shack Dwellers Federation is an organisation that constructs houses for low-income people across the country. Many low-income people have benefited from the programme and now have decent homes.

Hamutwalela started sewing in 2014, when she operated under a tree.
