President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has signalled support for closer cooperation between Namibia and the Chinese engineering company China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Seven (CC7), as Hyphen Hydrogen Energy considers expanding CC7’s role in the country’s flagship green hydrogen project.

The President met CC7 executives in Chengdu, China, during her official visit to the country. She was accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation. The meeting was facilitated by Hyphen Hydrogen Energy, while the Chinese delegation was led by CC7 chairman Long Haiyang.
