NamPost saw a windfall of N$407 million on its balance sheet in the 2025 financial year following the dismantling of Namibia Post and Telecom Holdings (NPTH), which had been NamPost’s 100% shareholder since its establishment, resulted in a change in ownership and reporting structures.

Following the restructuring, NamPost became directly owned by the Government of Namibia.
As part of the transition, NPTH donated 53 properties to NamPost, of which 32 are co-shared with Telecom Namibia. The properties created a windfall of N$407 million, strengthening the company’s balance sheet.
NamPost established a Property Division under its Finance Department to manage the newly acquired assets and oversee maintenance and related ownership costs.
