Newly-appointed Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa marketing commission member Ndeulipula Hamutumwa aims to leverage continental partnerships to boost Namibian sport.
“This appointment provides an opportunity to ensure we are represented in continental discussions,” he says.

Hamutumwa says his role creates valuable opportunities to learn from successful marketing initiatives across Africa, and to bring those ideas back to strengthen Namibia’s own sporting structures.
“The knowledge and relationships developed through this commission can benefit not only the Namibia National Olympic Committee, but also our national federations,” he says.
“One of my priorities will be sharing best practice. Many federations have excellent sporting programmes but require support in presenting themselves as attractive commercial partners.
