Seminar in Beijing offers wisdom for Global South cooperation

BEIJING, July 6 — A ministerial-level seminar on development cooperation among Global South countries was recently held in Beijing, bringing together nearly 30 senior officials and policy researchers from 12 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America.

During the seminar, Chinese experts elaborated on the country’s development philosophy and shared insights into Global South countries’ development needs in areas such as economic and trade cooperation, industrialization, green development, digital transformation and people-to-people exchanges.
