If you want to understand the depth of confusion today’s world is in, look no further than social media engagement. It does not only show a society leading itself into a wrong direction but one that does the bidding for its favorite anonymous enemy, famously only known as ‘They’.

The first thing that comes to mind in light of this conundrum is the recent outcry about the shortage of pharmaceutical products. As much as this product is important and necessary, there should be an alternative. Of course, the outcry does have some merit too, especially in cases of emergencies and lifesaving situations, not seeing it as an opportunity to address what makes us sick in the first place.

It should be a wake-up call and maybe even help us redefine what real health is all about. Should it be about adopting healthy lifestyles where the daily dietary structure’s primary goal is not only to fill the belly but also to give the body the essential nutrients to not only remain in good health but also heal itself?
