The End Period Poverty Foundation shifted its focus from simply donating aid, to empowering Baboon City residents with practical skills on Saturday.

They teach women and men how to make reusable sanitary pads through upcycling.

The community activation, held in the informal settlement on the outskirts of Windhoek, combined menstrual hygiene education with skills development and provided food parcels, clothing and materials to vulnerable households.
