Nelumbu takes over Kavango West policing

NKURENKURU – Namibian Police Commissioner Andreas Nelumbu on Friday officially took over as Kavango West Regional Commander at Nkurenkuru, pledging disciplined conduct, intensive road safety campaigns, and close cooperation with communities and neighbours to curb crime.

He replaces Commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo, who now leads the Zambezi region.

Presiding over the handover, Deputy Inspector-General for Operations, Major-General Elias Mutota said, “As you assume command today, you inherit not only the authority vested in this office but also the responsibility of safeguarding the lives and property of the people entrusted under your care.
