The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last week in Windhoek.

The agreement aims to foster collaboration across key digital and economic sectors and underscores the two entities’ joint commitment to advancing Namibia’s digital economy, promoting inclusive participation, and strengthening public-private cooperation.
The MoU formalises a framework for collaboration in vital areas such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), cybersecurity, digital transformation, e-trade facilitation, regulatory standards, legislative reform, digital literacy, and capacity building.
