A man convicted on six counts of murder after a car he was driving was involved in a deadly collision near Henties Bay in December 2014 has failed with a second attempt to appeal against his convictions and sentences. Jandré Dippenaar’s application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court was dismissed in a judgement delivered in the Windhoek High Court on Friday. Dippenaar requested to be permitted to appeal against a judgement in which a first appeal by him against his convictions and sentences was dismissed in the High Court in December last year.
