Namibia is currently experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at the international Taekwondo development camp in Muju, as athletes prepare for the upcoming challenge in Gangwon·Chuncheon 2026 World Para Taekwondo Open challenge. This camp marks a historic moment, with Namibia proudly standing as the only country south of the equator and the only SADC nation represented at the event.

The camp is the first of many training games, development championships, and competitive events that Namibia will participate in. Athletes are already looking forward to the championship in Gangwon·Chuncheon 2026 World Para Taekwondo Open challenge on the 8-9 July 2026, followed by the prestigious national championships in Korea this November.
