Construction of Kavango West’s Rupara Maternity Ward nears completion

THE Governor of the Kavango West Region, Verna Sinimbo, announced that the construction of the Rupara Maternity Ward is nearing completion.

“I am pleased to report that the construction of the Rupara Maternity Ward is nearing completion. This facility was made possible with the support of the Development Bank of Namibia, which donated N$1 million. Once operational, this facility will significantly improve maternal and childcare services for communities in the surrounding area and contribute towards reducing maternal and infant health risks,” she said.
