The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) has warned the public and applicants to the SME Fund about fraudulent emails claiming to be official grant acceptance letters.

In a statement issued last week, the NIPDB said the emails are fake and were not sent by the Board or the SME Fund.
According to the NIPDB, scammers are pretending to be members of the SME Fund team and are pressuring applicants to respond quickly and provide their banking details.
